• Silence is to be observed in the library at all times. All hand phones should be switched off. The library staff have the right to ask anyone who is causing disturbance, acting in a disruptive manner or conducting any unruly actions to leave the library immediately.
  • Smoking, consumption of food and drinks, and other inappropriate behaviours are not permitted in the library.
  • Users are required to leave their belongings on the shelves near the entrance. Users are advised not to leave their valuables on these shelves. The library is not responsible for any personal loss of property on its premises.
  • Reservation of seats is not permitted. The library will remove books and other articles left on the tables and chairs.
  • Users are not allowed to remove or change the arrangement of tables and chairs in the library.
  • Users are requested to place the books on the trolley once they have finished reading them in the library.
  • Users who are caught mutilating, defacing or stealing library materials will be reported to the Disciplinary Board.
  • In the event that the library has to recall items out on loan, the borrowers concerned are required to return them within three days from the issuing of the recall notice. Failure to do so will result in borrowing privileges being suspended until the item is returned. The borrower concerned will be liable to pay fines if the item is overdue.
  • Should an item be lost, damaged or not returned at all, the borrower will be charged double the cost of the lost book/damaged item.
  • Users found breaking the library rules will have their library privileges suspended and they will not be allowed to use all the services and facilities for 2 weeks. Their names will also be reported to the Disciplinary Board.
  • The librarian is empowered to amend the Library Rules and Regulations as and when necessary.
  • Maximum Usage of the room is two hours for each Group.
  • Discussion Room Reservations must be made on the day itself.
  • Usage of the Discussion Room is according to maximum seating allowed. If the number exceeds the capacity, kindly inform the Librarians at the counter.
  • Sleeping is prohibited in the Discussion Room.
  • All the Discussion Rooms are being monitored by CCTV.  Any groups that misuse the Discussion Rooms will be barred immediately.
  • Any maintenance issues with INTI properties should be reported immediately to the Librarians.
  • Please make sure that the Discussion Rooms are kept clean at all times.
